Members of Squirrel Hill Stands Against Gun Violence (who are also constituents of Rep. Mizgorski) met with State Representative Lori Mizgorski (Republican, HD-30). We talked about background checks and extreme risk protection orders. Rep. Mizgorski stated her clear intent to co-sponsor HB-1075 on Extreme Risk Protection Orders and we thanked her for this. Unfortunately, while she states that she herself supports background checks, she told us that for every constituent who meets with her supporting 'gun control', several others meet with her supporting 'gun rights'. She listened respectfully while we discussed how the overwhelming majority of Americans of both parties (>90%), gun owners and non-gun owners support background checks. However, she clearly needs to hear this from her own constituents. If you live in PA house district 30, we urge you to contact Rep.
