Squirrel Hill Stands Against Gun Violence Speaks in Favor of Pittsburgh Firearms Restrictions

Group member Carolyn Ban was the first to testify before Pittsburgh City Council on Thursday in support of new proposals that would place restrictions on firearms. The proposals would ban assault weapons, including the AR-15, bump stocks, and large-capacity magazines. The proposal would also allow courts to temporarily confiscate firearms from someone considered at risk of committing gun violence.
