Squirrel Hill Stands on Gun Violence Prevention Panel in Ohio

Members of Squirrel Hill Stands Against Gun Violence and the presidents of Congregation Dor Hadash and New Light Congregation (two of the three congregations at the Tree of Life synagogue) participated in a panel discussion on gun violence this Monday. The event was held at Temple Emanu El in West Orange, OH and is part of an ongoing series. Prior to the panel presentation and audience questions, organizations including Moms Demand Action, Be SMART for Kids and Ohioans for Gun Safety were available to speak to attendees. If you live in Ohio, please be sure to click on the link to find out how to sign the petition to get background checks on the ballot as a referendum in 2020. Thank you to the amazing folks at Temple Emanu El for hosting this important event and to the packed house of folks who turned out to attend.
