Members of Squirrel Hill Stands Against Gun Violence joined volunteers for Emily Skopov and the Order of the Phoenix in making 1305 calls and having 182 conversations with voters. First we heard from the candidate, received instruction on phone banking and Emily's policy positions and then broke off to make calls. We reconvened after about 90 minutes of calls for a debrief and a little story telling. All in all (from a person who hates to make phone calls) a good afternoon. Most people were friendly and quite a few were very enthusiastic.
This is the work we need to do to elect a gun safety majority. Please join us for upcoming events supporting Emily and other gun safety advocates running for office.
